Part 1

It is a known fact that Yellow 5 and Yellow 6 are both synthetic coal tar dyes made from industrial waste.  It is purposely injected in much of the packaged food that we consume.  It is also banned in many countries.  But why is it not banned in the U.S.?  Much of our food products also contain unnecessary artificial flavors, colors, sweeteners, etc.  This doesn't bother me nearly as much as knowing that people know this, but don't care and still feed their children poison.
